Raymond Vineyard’s Sommelier Selection Cabernet Sauvignon was crafted by a group of influential sommeliers at the finest restaurants and inspired by the rich history of our world-renowned winegrowing region. We used Cabernet grapes from three unique appellations, resulting in a fun and diverse wine made to enjoy. Napa Valley is the backbone of the blend, with its terroir providing the fullest expression of black fruits and integrated tannins; Sonoma County’s fog influence produces grapes that give the wine structure, balance and acidity; Lake County’s growing season is short, making for red, jammy wines that are easy to enjoy.

Robust flavors of raspberry, currant and a touch of toast burst forth from the glass. Soft and supple in the mouth, this juicy wine has a long finish and is extremely food friendly, made to pair with a myriad of dishes.”

From the winemaker – “The 2014 Stonestreet Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a pure reflection of our high-elevation vineyard estate, showcasing the wide variety of facings, soils and flora found on its primary ridge. Vibrant aromas of brambly blackberry, raspberry, tobacco and sage dominate, while underneath one finds subtle undertones of baking spices and anise. The palate offers dark, savory flavors of black currant, dried cherry, dried Herbes de Provence, and a touch of vanilla bean, enveloped in fine tannins that extend the wine through a lengthy cocoa-powder laden finish.”
Grapes were sourced from vineyards throughout Washington State, including the Horse Heaven Hills, Columbia Valley, Wahluke Slope and the Yakima Valley. Merlot,Cabernet Franc, Syrah & Petit Verdot were added to create a fruit-forward profile and enhanced mouth feel.
Head-trained, dry farmed vines are prized for their production of small, concentrated clusters of grapes that produce incredibly rich and intense wines. For years, Bogle has sought out these gnarled old vines to create our Old Vine Zinfandel.
All of our Sonoma County Cabernet was harvested early in the cold mornings, then destemmed and moved to small, open top stainless steel tanks. There it fermented at moderate temperatures and macerated on the skins for an extended period of time. The wine was pressed off, settled 2 days and then racked to barrels for malolactic fermentation. This Cabernet spent 14 months aging in oak barrels and in tank; 45% new oak was used, half of that being American and half French oak.
Alta Luna (“High Moon”) Pinot Noir represents the finest selection of Pinot Noir grapes from prime vineyard sites situated in the foothills of Italy’s Dolomite Alps. This region provides the perfect conditions for producing some of the best quality Pinot Noir grapes in the world. Our winemakers have crafted a singular wine that exudes a seductive bouquet and a rich, silky palate.
This great Zin is dry and spicy, with blackberry, currant, herb and coffee flavors that finish with a hint of raisins.
This wine has a full structure and a long, lingering finish. It has a spice and vanilla oak characteristic to it with floral notes which makes it a very drinkable wine now, or for years to come.
