Forty-five percent of this wine was barrel fermented in 15 percent new French oak; 70 percent of the wine went through malolactic fermentation.
From the winemaker – “The 2011 RouteStock Chardonnay has an attractive pale straw color with delicate golden hues. The aroma is a cacophony of complex layers including tropical fruits, mango and yellow peach over delightful notes of butter, brioche and roasted nuts. The palate is rich and full with flavors of taffy and nuts and a soft, creamy, yet elegant finish.”
