2015 Alamos Torrontés

Although Malbec and Mendoza are the best known names in Argentine winemaking, Torrontés is taking center stage a few hundred miles to the northwest, in the Cafayate region of Salta. It is believed that Argentina’s flagship white varietal was brought to the country by Spanish Jesuits in the 18th century. Torrontés is found in the world’s highest vineyards, resting at 5,000 to 6,000 feet above sea level in Argentina. The high altitude growing conditions translate beautifully to bright floral aromas and delightfully crisp acidity in our Alamos Torrontés wine.

From the winemaker – “A delightful expression of the high elevation Salta region, our Alamos Torrontés has bright floral aromas of orange and jasmine blossom. On the palate, this wine offers citrus and peach flavors that lead to a crisp finish.”

This wine pairs nicely with a wide variety of Thai foods because of its ability to temper the Thai dishes. Try pad kee mao (drunken noodles), masaman curry and beef noodle soup with this one.

2013 Maison Louis Latour Andeche Chardonnay

Maison Louis Latour is one of the most innovative producers in Burgundy whilst maintaining its traditional image. With a view to expanding the business in 1979, the valley of the Ardèche river with its limestone-based soils was chosen as the ideal location to produce top-quality vin de pays Chardonnay. The wine is deliciously apple-fresh with crisp acidity and a smooth finish.

From the Wine Maker – “Golden yellow with green highlights, offering an aromatic bouquet of white flowers. Powerful and rounded with good length.”

Best with Appetizers such as; baked goat cheese, smoked fish or shellfish, oysters on the half-shell and escargots that are sautéed with garlic.

2014 Banfi Centine Toscana White Wine

Our Centine takes its name from a 19th century farmhouse on the Castello Banfi vineyard estate. is rural Tuscan dwelling is noted for its many stone arches, called centine in Italian. Well balanced, Centine Bianco is notable for its rich aromatic expression and elegant structure.

From the Wine Maker – “Color: Brilliant yellow. Bouquet: Fruit-forward with varietal notes of pear, apricot, lime, and herbs. Taste: Dry and well-balanced with crisp acidity and lush fruit flavors.”

Ideal with white meats, grilled poultry, and entrée salads. Perfect also as an aperitif.

2014 Line 39 Sauvignon Blanc

2014 DaVinci Pinot Grigio

2014 Markham Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc

From the winemaker – “Freshly zested lemon-lime aromas are layered with fresh pea shoot and a wet stone minerality common to the vintage. Classic tropical flavors of passionfruit and grapefruit provide this juicy mouth full for which our Sauvignon Blanc is known. We have been busy enjoying this wine with Thai inspired dishes, Asian stir-fy and our friends while enjoying the summer here in Napa. The intriguing minerality and slight shift from California to New Zealand character is intoxicating!
