2011 Alamos Moscato

Alamos-MoscatoMoscato d’Asti is characterized by its freshness, elegant floral aromas and delicate flavors of peaches and apricots. It is generally fuller and more complex, though not as crisp, and is considered to display more finesse than its sibling Asti Spumante.

From the Wine Maker – “Alamos Moscato is sourced from the foothills of the Andes Mountains in Argentina, where some of the world’s highest vineyards are located. Alamos Mosacato exhibits flavors of fresh apricot and honey, with layers of citrus aromas.”

This wine is light on the palate and pairs excellent with grilled chicken, salads, and slightly spicy foods.

2011 Be Pink Moscato

Be. Flirty Pink Moscato beckons you to pull out the sky-high stilettos, add some sparkles to your eyes and maybe dab a little of that expensive, special-occasion perfume on your neck as you head out the door to share some wine with the girls.

You may do some extra arm-touching and giggling tonight. But, (in your defense) the jokes are funnier when the world is your flirtatious playground and you’re the perfect blend of confidence and playfulness with a delightful finish of harmless fun.

From the winemaker – “This tastefully gregarious gem is decked out and ready to get noticed with its playfully pink color. Its sweet berry flavors allure your palate with a friendly, energetic approach that mesmerizes and delights as delicate floral notes dance about to the seductive playlist of fun rotating ’round a shiny disco ball in your head.”

Best served with panna cotta & fresh fruit; summer fruit with turbinado sugar; simple cookies such as langue de chat, or almond biscotti.

Risata Moscato d’Asti

D.O.C.G. White wine. Risata, meaning laughter, will honor its Italian name by being the focus of any occasion. The supple sweetness of this wine will shine as an aperitif, with dessert, or on its own.

From the Wine Maker – “This Moscato d’Asti is fresh, fragrant, and frizzante with vibrant, flavors and aromas of ripe stone fruit, tangerines and honey. The wine is concentrated and flavorful, but not overly rich or heavy; sweet, yet balanced.”

Pairs well with before dinner, after dinner, spicy dishes, tiramisu, panettone, toasted hazelnuts, apricots and figs drizzled with honey or cake.
