Destalked and then crushed, the grapes macerate for a short time to extract color from the skin and flavor from the pulp. The grapes are then gently pressed in a low-pressure bag press. Juices ferment at a low temperature in stainless steel vats sprayed with cold water. This lengthy process maintains the youth and the flavor of the rosé wine.
From the winemaker – “This is the perfect way to discover classic Côtes de Provence Rosé from a great vintage! Made of a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah, this wine is ‘concentrated, with an intense juiciness to the dried berry, cherry, red currant and white fruit flavors. A well-defined core of dried cherry, herb and mineral flavors features hints of white pepper that linger on the crisp finish.”
Amazing with a full range of foods, dry Rosé is one of the most versatile wines in the world for pairing. Think salmon, shellfish, grilled meats, Mediterranean, Asian, cheese & crackers and more…
