The Castle Rock Chardonnay is produced from grapes grown in the Russian River Valley, one of California’s most prestigious growing appellations. Here, the fog cooled climate and well-drained soils provide ideal growing conditions for grapes which produce some of the finest wines in the world.
From the Wine Maker – “This elegant Chardonnay is a concentrated wine, with pleasant depth and integration. Its flavors of pear, vanilla, citrus and spice slowly unfold on the palate, and its finish is harmonious.”
This Chardonnay is an excellent accompaniment for fish, poultry and lightly sauced entrees. Cream style cheeses such as; cottage or goat cheese, semi-hard cheeses like Fontina, Jarlsberg, Swiss or Gouda.
