Vinified under the careful eye of consulting winemaker Véronique Drouhin-Boss, Cloudline has quietly become one of Oregon’s (Willamette Valley) most successful brands, and the Pinot Noir remains true to its reputation for high-quality and value.
From the Wine Maker – “The 2012 Cloudline Pinot Noir is both elegant and forward, a combination of the vintage’s ripeness and the classic Oregon pinot noir framework. Aromatically and on the palate, there are notes of dark berries and crushed fruits, with the unmistakable, layered mouth feel one expects in Pinot Noir.”
Pinot Noir is well-suited to pair with poultry, beef, fish, ham, lamb and pork. It will play well with creamy sauces, spicy seasonings and may just be one of the world’s most versatile food wines.
