Meaning “light” in Latin, Luminus naturally represents the radiance of this Chardonnay. Laurie has always admired the Chardonnay from our Big Ranch Vineyard for its elegance and balance, and the 2012 vintage marks the debut of this distinctive wine.
From the winemaker – “The 2012 Luminus has a striking purity of fruit, and showcases bright citrus characteristics and a beautiful minerality. It has a robust acidity, notes of lemon pith, almond extract, and a silky, elegant texture.”
This Chardonnay is an excellent accompaniment for fish, poultry and lightly sauced entrees. Cream style cheeses such as; cottage or goat cheese, semi-hard cheeses like Fontina, Jarlsberg, Swiss or Gouda.
