2007 Rienzi 60/40 Red Blend

Tasting a  glass of wine is like experiencing the True Italian Way of Life…  This is the belief that Rienzi Wine Import, LLC applies in choosing its  wines. The company wants to take all wine aficionados on a special  voyage, that of discovering the “Bel Paese” and its regions, towns and  wineries. Behind each ridge, each cove and hills a new taste and flavor  awaits those who like to discover Italy’s best kept secrets: its wines.

From the winemaker – “Mike Rienzi has blended two of Italy’s best red grapes to produce 60/40, one of Italy’s newest and very best wines: 75% Anglianico grape, the next hot Italian red grape from the beautiful Vulture of Basilicata and 25% Sangiovese grape, the famous grape of Tuscany where Brunello and Chianti are made. 60/40 is aged in oak for 12 months to a velvety smoothness and is a wonderful full bodied wine that is truly distinctive and unique.”

Enjoy with beef, duck or veal dishes or a bleu cheese.
