Playful fruit flavors of papaya and pears are complemented by subtle apple pie spice and vanilla from oak aging.
From the Wine Maker – “This vintage shows aromas of bright citrus, including lemon and pineapple, as well as mango, peach, nectarine, vanilla and lemongrass notes. The wine is bright with clean fruit flavors showing tropical notes with a touch of baked apple. The oak aging gently frames the wine, contributes a slight caramel note, and complements the fruit flavors from these fine coastal vineyards.”
Great with appetizers such as; baked goat cheese, smoked fish or shellfish, oysters on the half-shell and escargots that are sautéed with garlic. Cream style cheeses such as; cottage or goat cheese, semi-hard cheeses like Fontina, Jarlsberg, Swiss or Gouda.
