This red blend is made up of 70% Sangiovese, 15% Syrah, and 15% Merlot. This bottling shows terrific harmony. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019.

It shows compelling inner palate sweetness, with more than enough minerality to balance some of the vintage’s riper qualities. Vintage 2009 was characterized by warm, hot weather until a big storm hit in mid-September.”
