Banknote Wine Company is a limited production, hand-crafted, wine producer committed to producing high quality wines from fruit grown in some of the finest vineyards in Napa and Sonoma.
From the winemaker – “The Counterfeit is a complex Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon (with some Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc) that showcases a floral nose with hints of herbs and espresso. This Cabernet has a delicious mix of ripe blackberry and dark fruit flavors complemented by vanilla and creamy oak.”
Great with beef, duck or veal dishes or a bleu cheese. Other flavors that go well with this bottle are dark chocolate, mustard, paprika, rosemary, thyme, cloves, ginger and nutmeg.
