“Here’s a rich, easy-to-like Sauvignon Blanc. Shows keen acidity and complex flavors of citrus fruits, lemongrass, minerals and honey. Feels vigorous and clean all the way through to the long, spicy finish” 90 Points – Wine Enthusiast
From the winemaker – “The fruit comes from two small vineyards in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley, one on the edge of the western mountains and the other almost due east along the Vaca Range foothills. The lower Valley experiences warm days and cool nights throughout the growing season, allowing for a longer hang-time. This enhances flavor development while retaining acidity. The fruit for this wine is harvested about a week later than other Napa Valley Sauvignon Blancs in order to allow development of tropical, stone-fruit and citrus flavors.”
A perfect oyster wine, this Sauvignon Blanc is also delicious with many vegetarian dishes. Cheeses such as chevre and other fresh cheeses, Brie and other semi-soft cheeses, Swiss, Gouda and other mild, firm cheeses.
