Quattro Mani, or “four hands,” showcases celebrity Italian winemakers who express the character and strength of Italy’s rich viticultural heritage, interpreted through their unique personalities. These winemakers were selected for their skill in allowing vineyards to speak through the wine, reflecting the belief that the essence of a region can be best expressed through its traditional wines. Quattro Mani wines are produced from estate-grown fruit using sustainable agriculture, and are bottled at the source. Fermentation for this great red took place in stainless steel tanks for 6-7 days, then aged for five months in large Slavonian oak barrels.
From the Wine Maker – “Aromas of blackberries, plums and sweet spices give way to a ripe and juicy pallet with soft tannins and a long, fresh finish.”
A classic match with prosciutto. Also try this great white with seafood and fish, pork and Asian/spicy dishes.

Arrogant Frog is an estate-bottled wine from the Languedoc region of southern France. Like its creator, winemaker Jean-Claude Mas, (aka the Humble Vintner), this wine is proud to assert its Mediterranean origin. Generations of the Mas family have tended to vineyards and made wine in the Languedoc region, and over the years, their wines have retained vibrancy and refined charm. The wine is sealed with a dependable screw cap to preserve freshness and youthful appeal.
Robert Parker: “…the 2009 Chardonnay Signature Series from Russian River is potentially outstanding. Barrel samples of other wines also looked impressive. The flagship winery in the Ernest and Julio Gallo empire, the Gallo Family Vineyards has produced a bevy of delicious reds and whites. While I know many readers remember Gallo from the old days of hearty Burgundy and Chablis blanc, they have long been committed to high quality, which is evident in not only these wines but others from their huge portfolio of wine estates.”
Sangiovese is the main grape component of Chianti, one of Italy’s best known wines. Our Sangiovese grapes originate in the hills between the Provinces of Siena and Florence within the renowned Chianti area of Tuscany. This area is known for a warm, sunny growing season, with substantial temperature differential between day and night. Such conditions produce flavorful, rich grapes. The cultivation of these grapes can be traced back through the centuries to ancient Greece and Rome. In fact, the word Sangiovese is derived from Latin “sanguis Jovis,” or the blood of Jupiter.
Paired with Roadst Pork & Creamed Spinach.
This fine estate (which dates from the mid-17th century), while known primarily for their Chateauneuf du Pape, also makes a fine Cotes du Rhone. It is made from a blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, and 10% Cinsault, and is aged in large oak barrels for several months after vinification. Domaine Pere Caboche Cotes-du Rhone is an elegantly structured mid-weight Cotes du Rhone with juicy fruit flavors.
This wine was introduced in 1928 by Marquis Niccolò Antinori, as the first Chianti ever produced suited for being aged and improving over time. In 2001, Piero Antinori launched a new step in the evolution of Villa Antinori, making it a Tuscan IGT produced with the best selection of grapes originating exclusively from estates located in Tuscany. This Italian gem is a great red blend consisting of 55% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 5% Syrah.
In 2010, our Central Coast Chardonnay grapes enjoyed an extended period maturing on the vine, which produced fruit with impressively concentrated flavors. The natural roundness of our Chardonnay was enhanced by partial barrel and malolactic fermentation coupled with extended aging on the yeast lees, resulting in a luscious, complex wine. The blend is made up of 98% Chardonnay, 1% Muscat Canelli, 1% Malvasia Bianca.
